Amesbury Charter Review Commission approves amended public feedback questions. The commission voted 6-1 with one abstention to approve the revised survey questions at its Sept. 15 virtual meeting, with Anne Ferguson moving and Christian Scorzoni seconding the motion. Commissioners adjusted the questions to add "Amesbury" before references to boards and positions, specify "comparably sized cities" as a comparison basis, and ensure consistent language across questions about public participation thresholds and recall provisions.
Staff Liaison Paul Fahey reported the city can support either survey or in-person public meeting formats for the charter review process.
