Amesbury home sales span $1.2 million gap in late July

Amesbury recorded 15 property sales between July 3 and Aug. 1, with 13 disclosed prices ranging from $195,000 to $1.4 million and a median of $595,000. The month's top sale was 4 Point Shore Overlook, Lot 6, which sold for $1.4 million on July 31, followed by 30-32 Orchard St. at $1,199,000. Nine of the 15 transfers involved a lot or unit number, indicating a significant share of condominium or multi-unit development activity. No street recorded more than one sale. Two transfers, at 3 Woodlawn St. and 3 Kimberly Circle, carried no disclosed price and appear to be transfers within the same family or trust.
