Amesbury Retirement Board adopts Schedule B-4 funding plan for next two budget years. The board voted unanimously to adopt Schedule B-4 for the 2026 actuarial valuation based on actuary Linda L. Bournival's recommendation, scheduling completion of the unfunded liability for 2037 and setting appropriation guidance for fiscal years 2028 and 2029.

The decision required September approval to meet state PERAC deadlines. The board also approved three retirements: Barry Wilson, Assistant Chief Operator at the Department of Public Works Water Department with 41 years and seven months of service and a monthly pension of $6,051.65; William Lickteig, also at the Water Department with 40 years and one month and $5,146.02 per month; and Barbara M. Foley at the Treasurer/Collector's Office with 14 years and one month and $1,427.28 per month.
