Amesbury Retirement Board approves 3 percent COLA increase for retirees.

Amesbury Retirement Board votes 5-0 to grant 3 percent COLA to retirees effective July 1. The Board unanimously processed five member withdrawal applications, approved the transfer of former Chief Assessor Diana M. Caswell's $43,504.65 account to Middlesex County Retirement Board, and accepted new member Abigail Sites of the Police Department.
Two retirees will receive their first pension payments March 31: Kevin P. Mulrenin, Group 4, with a $9,664.37 monthly allowance after 32 years 3 months service, and Barbara A. Lyons Manson, Group 1, with a $548.14 monthly allowance after 10 years 2 months service.
The Board also approved the 2025 Annual Statement and adopted a new HIPAA release form for member enrollment packets.
