Amesbury Retirement Board approves six new members and multiple service buybacks

Amesbury Retirement Board approves six new enrollments and authorizes $70,000 in service buybacks. The board unanimously accepted paraprofessionals Natalie H. Girouard, Toni-Ann Pavao, Liam Davey, Susan Joslin, and Chloe Wiekerke and police officer Clara Reich to the system, and approved a $59,082.95 buyback for Regional Health Nurse Pamela Palombo and a $10,815.32 military service buyback for Firefighter/Paramedic Joshua Webber with a five-year payment plan.
Two voluntary superannuation retirements, bricklayer/mason Neal Kimball, effective April 24, 2026, and School Clerk Anne M. Nadeau, effective July 1, 2026, were unanimously approved subject to PERAC calculation review. The board unanimously approved an updated creditable service policy and authorized $750,000 in PRIT transfers for June retiree payroll and disbursement warrants.
