Amesbury City Council approves 21 board reappointments and appointments in unanimous votes. The council unanimously confirmed reappointments of Jane Snow to the Cemetery Advisory Commission, Fred Zackon to the Conservation Commission, Sally Nutt to the Cultural Council, and nine others to various municipal boards through 2029, while also appointing Pamela Gilday and Kelly A. Sullivan to new committee roles.
The council also forwarded 18 budget and administrative orders for committee review, including a $37,772.59 school capital transfer for the Amesbury High School Diamond Field project, a $200,000 appropriation to the Stabilization Fund, and $231,535 in downtown crosswalk improvements with ADA-compliant tactile pads and curb ramps.
