AMESBURY — City Council convened Saturday for FY27 budget workshop with Mayor's office. Eight of nine councilors attended in person; CFO Marissa Batista and Chief of Staff Pam Tobey joined remotely. The Administration presented FY27 budget proposals including new revenue sources and expense estimates, reviewed FY26 spending and Q3 budget performance, and outlined the budget process timeline and upcoming meeting dates.
The workshop adjourned unanimously at 11:09 a.m. after discussion of year-round budget planning.
