AMESBURY — Open Space, Natural Resources, and Trails Committee flags two development proposals. Chair Jonathan Sherwood said the 385-unit Rocky Hill Development lacks adequate trail and open-space plans despite Planning Board requests; the Committee will hold full review pending resubmission. Members also flagged concerns on 27 Kimball Road's Chapter 40B application--including wetland filling and stormwater impacts on Lake Attitash--and will submit a memo to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Committee's first invasive-plant volunteer work party at Woodsom Farm is set for April 18, and a community environmental newsletter is expected to launch this summer under Amesbury Outdoors.
