AMESBURY — Open Space, Natural Resources, and Trails Committee approved the Invasive Plant Management Plan on July 22. Chair Jonathan Sherwood incorporated Conservation Commission feedback and state herbicide regulations into the plan, which now includes definitions distinguishing RDA from NOI determinations and a statement recommending conservation agent approval. The committee unanimously approved the plan and discussed simplifying a comprehensive Trail Management and Stewardship Plan into a one-page field guide for volunteers.
The committee also heard updates on the municipal energy aggregation program and a $100 trash bin sticker program, and agreed to take an August recess.
