Amesbury traffic committee approves five safety improvements for residential neighborhoods. The committee voted unanimously to install 2 speed humps on Lake Attitash Way and 3 on Spindletree Drive, and approved 25 miles per hour speed limit and stop signs for the Old County Road and Cross Street

Amesbury traffic committee approves five safety improvements for residential neighborhoods. The committee voted unanimously to install 2 speed humps on Lake Attitash Way and 3 on Spindletree Drive, and approved 25 miles per hour speed limit and stop signs for the Old County Road and Cross Street area. By a 4-2 vote with abstentions from Councilor Jonathan Hickok and member Christine Miller, the committee approved No Parking restrictions on Main Street from Clark's Road to 466 Main Street.
A crosswalk at Monroe Street and Fairway Drive was also unanimously approved. Three additional requests for traffic safety measures were continued to the March meeting.
