Community Preservation Committee approves prior minutes, adopts plan timeline.

AMESBURY — The Community Preservation Committee unanimously adopted a schedule for completing its Community Preservation Plan and approved three sets of prior meeting minutes. Chairperson Suzanne Egan said the goal is to have the plan ready by the end of June for a public presentation that month, followed by application presentations in February 2027. The committee discussed benchmarking against application processes used in Newburyport and Gloucester and voted unanimously to request a progress document with milestones from staff liaison Howard Snyder.
The committee also welcomed Craig Hurd as a new member from the Open Space, Natural Resources, and Trails Committee.
