Community Preservation Committee elects Joel Nice as co-chairperson.

Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of January 21, 2026

AMESBURY — Community Preservation Committee unanimously elects Joel Nice as co-chairperson and relocates regular meetings to the fourth Wednesday of each month. Chairperson Suzanne Egan, citing scheduling conflicts, proposed the meeting-day shift, which passed 6-0 on a motion by Bob Manseau. The committee is developing a Community Preservation Plan covering Historic Preservation, Housing, and Open Space and Recreation; City Staff Howard Snyder will invite active-recreation stakeholders to present at a single meeting, with applications expected in fall and recommendations to City Council in spring of next year.
