AMESBURY — Conservation Commission approves retaining wall at Lake Attitash, schedules peer reviews for Rocky Hill development. Chair Fred Zackon, Vice Chair Jamie McCarthy, and Members Michael Fallon and Matt Mohr voted unanimously to authorize the 1- to 2-foot retaining wall at 68 and 70 Lake Attitash Road to stabilize an eroding slope, with the hearing closed. The 379-unit Rocky Hill MBTA development on Elm Street, featuring 296 affordable rental units and deed-restricted forested and wetland areas, was advanced to environmental peer review; an administrative meeting is set for March 18 at 6:30 p.m. to approve the peer-review proposal.
Three wetland applications and two Certificates of Compliance for completed waterfront projects were approved unanimously.
