Amesbury Council on Aging Board approved February minutes unanimously and reviewed combined fund balances totaling $23,814.28. Chair and Interim Treasurer Arthur Levine reported Revolving account expenditures of $106.71 for gas and Misc. Grants Fund outlays of $573.78 for senior prescription reimbursement.

Interim Director Courtney Hutchinson told the board that more than 40 seniors attended City Hall to protest Wednesday and Friday afternoon closures at the senior center, and that parking shortages at the Costello Center have resulted in two reported falls among seniors. The board learned that the Director position remains unfilled, with the job description expected to be posted by early next week.
