Cultural Council approves March minutes, reviews fundraising plan.

Amesbury Cultural Council approves prior minutes and hears fundraising proposal. The council, with nine of 11 members present, heard from fundraising consultant Lindsay Haight on a plan to secure year-round programming support, while Treasurer Joanne Barnes reported a gifts account balance of $15,723 and a grants account of $6,225. The council's Cultural Center secured its first April reservation on the newly live rental system, and the North of Boston Print Collaborative will exhibit June 20 through July 3.

Public art initiatives in development include murals at Hanley Court and 82 Main Street and a new mural at 20 Friend Street, with two-phase artist recruitment planned.
