Amesbury Cultural Council approves prior minutes and defers Cultural Center vote. The council unanimously authorized a $200 annual Chamber of Commerce dues payment and scheduled a grant reception and artist mixer for March 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the soon-to-open Cultural Center. The Cultural Center is set to open April 1 and will serve as the council's home, with the council holding first priority for Tuesday evening reservations and City Hall managing overall scheduling and cleaning.
The council plans to craft a statement rejecting AI-generated art for exhibitions and is pursuing a $2,500 MCC Festivals grant for Open Studios 2026.
