Amesbury Energy Committee advances multi-site LED replacement and waste oversight. City Energy Manager Dave Johnson reported Project Lumos will retrofit fluorescent lights to LEDs across five municipal sites before October rebate expiration, with an RFQ issued late March. The committee extended its power aggregation contract with Colonial Power through August 2030 and authorized approximately $160 monthly for 15-minute interval utility data collection--expected to yield substantially higher savings through improved monitoring.
A Municipal Solid Waste subcommittee convenes March 10 to review and recommend changes to city solid waste ordinances per Mayor Gove's request.
