Marjorie E. Smart, 94, of Amesbury, died June 20, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband John F. "Jack" Smart, Jr.; her parents Wilfred LaMothe and Rose LaMothe (Jones); her siblings Richard LaMothe and Gloria Pearsall; and her grandson Joshua Michael Smart. She is survived by her children Paul G. Smart (Tammy) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Gloria M. Cormick (Smart) of Georgia, along with four grandchildren — Matthew A. Smart, John-Michael Smart, Clinton W. Cormick Jr., and Kerry Fisher — and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 29, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, NH 03865; a funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at All Saints Parish, 120 Bellevue Ave, Haverhill, MA 01832.
