Amesbury Planning Board approves Congress Street project with landscaping conditions. The board voted 6-0-1 to approve a site plan and special permit for 84 Congress Street, with Eric Girard abstaining, requiring that the final vegetation buffer and planting plan receive Office of Community and Economic Development approval before installation. Applicant Payson Cahill addressed earlier concerns by updating site documentation to show stairs to scale.
The board also approved an ANR for 8 Noel Street, creating a non-buildable lot, and unanimously forwarded two easement bills to the City Council. Four continued hearings are scheduled for July 13.
