Planning Board elects leadership, approves three projects, continues mixed-use hearing.
Planning Board · Meeting of January 12, 2026
Amesbury Planning Board unanimously re-elected Pascal Rettig as Chair and David Frick as Vice Chair. The Board approved an Approval Not Required plan for 38.5 Rocky Hill Road and granted unanimous approval to two Water Resource Protection District projects: a Definitive Subdivision and Special Permit for 102 Kimball Road involving protected open space, and a Special Permit for 6 Lake Attitash Way for stormwater improvements. The Board deferred the mixed-use Eagles Crossing development on Clarks Road to January 26 for review of draft conditions, after residents submitted written comment expressing concerns about traffic impacts, pedestrian safety, building density waivers, setback reductions, and insufficient parking provisions.
Planning Director Nipun Jain reported peer-review consultants have found most engineering and traffic concerns addressed.
