Amesbury Planning Board backs Housing Production Plan with amendments. Board Member Tracey Chalifour moved to recommend the city's housing strategy to City Council with corrections to the Amesbury Priority Housing Target Areas table on page 38, citing misaligned project phases and unit counts. The plan, developed with the Metropolitan Valley Planning Commission, will guide community housing policy toward the state-mandated 10 percent affordable-housing goal.
The Board also unanimously approved sign applications for 2 Merrimac Street and 77 Elm Street, selected Stantec as peer reviewer for 28 Haverhill Road, and continued seven development applications to future meetings.
