The committee authorized Storywalk funding and scheduled a karaoke fundraiser July 15 at BareWolf with a 50/50 raffle and DJ, an Evening with the Poets on August 12 at the Cultural Center to be televised, and open mics September through November. The committee discussed email appeals to Poet Laureate subscribers and Whittier Home residents for additional funding and will move future meetings to the Cultural Center.
