Retirement Board approves five service buybacks and one transfer

Amesbury Retirement Board approves five buybacks and one inter-system transfer. The board unanimously accepted service redeposits from five individuals totaling $33,012.40 and approved transfer of Ann Marie Casey's $34,788.88 account to Middlesex County Retirement System. Five new city employees were also enrolled: Joshua Lavoie (Fire), Amy L.

Smith (Schools), Pamela Tobey (Mayor's Office), Robert E. Baronas (Housing Authority), and Nicholas Gilmore (Human Resources). The board denied service liability for Miesha Acevedo, a former non-member coordinator.

Retirement Administrator Laura Angus was authorized to execute the RFP Service Agreement with KMS Actuaries.
