Amesbury Traffic Committee continues Spindletree speed bump appeal with new data. The committee reviewed police speed surveys for Spindletree Lane showing average speeds of 27.5 mph against a 25 mph limit, with 7,446 vehicles counted April 12 to 21. Members Lauren Tirone, Robert Desmarais, Christopher Falcos, and Christine Miller voted unanimously to continue the appeal to July 18, planning to involve residents in further discussion.
The committee also deferred speed bump requests on Lakeshore Drive, parking issues on Main Street, speeding concerns on Beacon and Merrimac Streets, and a four-way stop request at Pond and High Streets.
