Amesbury deed records show wide price gap between $42,000 land transfer and $2.2 million condo sale

Amesbury recorded 15 property transfers from Aug. 21 to Sept. 19, with 11 carrying a listed sale price so far, ranging from $42,000 to $2.2 million and a median of $640,300. The month's top sale was a $2.2 million condominium unit at 40 Water St., sold between two LLCs. Kimball Road saw two sales, at $760,000 and $797,000. Four transfers moved property into trusts or a realty trust without a price yet recorded, a pattern common for that type of deed filing. The data shows a broad price spread but no single dominant price tier.
