Amesbury Sees 13 Property Transfers as Most Sale Prices Await Registry Update
Amesbury recorded 13 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, though sale prices have posted for only four so far, ranging from $400,000 to $735,000 with a median of $457,500. The period's top sale was 4 Roselett Way Unit 4 at $735,000. Friend Street saw three separate transfers, including two adjoining properties sold the same day by the same seller to two different LLCs. Six of the 13 transfers moved property within the same family or individual's trust rather than to a new owner. With most prices still pending at the registry, the data available so far does not support a clear read on whether conditions favor buyers or sellers.
