Amesbury home sale tops $670,000 as September deed activity holds steady
Essex County recorded 15 Amesbury property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26. Among the nine sales with a posted price, figures ranged from $200,000 to $670,000, with a median of $490,000. The month's top sale was 65 Congress St. at $670,000, followed by 382 Main St. at $640,300. Six transfers, including several trust transfers within the same family, have no price on file yet, which is normal while the registry catches up. Sales split roughly evenly between under $500,000 and the $500,000-to-$1-million range, with none topping $1 million.
